Adobe’s collaborative canvas tool Firefly Boards has officially moved out of beta and is now available globally.
Here’s what’s new:
- Expanded video model support: Two new video models—Runway Aleph and Moonvalley Marey—are added alongside existing ones.
- New ideation features:
- Presets: One-click visual styles (e.g. Product & Character, Virtual Try On, Electric Party) to kickstart idea generation.
- Generative Text Edit (beta): Swap or edit text directly within visuals while preserving style and context.
- Describe Image: Upload an image and get a prompt that describes it—great for remixing or re-generation.
- Flexible subscription & access: New tiers—Firefly Standard, Pro, Premium—offer more flexibility around generative credits, partner models, and integrations with Photoshop / Adobe Express.
- Creative space reimagined: Firefly Boards eliminates tool switching by unifying ideation, remixing, and collaboration in one canvas using internal and partner AI models.
This launch signifies Adobe’s push to make the ideation stage more seamless, letting creators explore, iterate, and build visual ideas faster and more collaboratively.
