As of September 24, 2025, Figma has launched a Zapier integration that connects Figma with thousands of other apps—helping teams automate repetitive tasks without writing code.
This integration enables you to:
- Automate notifications (e.g. post to Slack when files update)
- Log design feedback automatically in tools like Airtable or Google Sheets
- Create tickets or dev tasks when comments are added in Figma, connecting design to project management systems
- Trigger actions from Figma events using available Zapier triggers and actions such as “New Comment,” “File Updated,” or “New Dev Resource”
- Set up workflows via Zapier’s UI—go to the Apps page, add the Figma connection, authenticate, then choose triggers/actions.
Note on access & limits:
- Some triggers like “File Updated” or “New Comment (instant)” require paid Figma plans.
- To use “New Dev Resource” or “Create Dev Resource” actions, a Dev seat in Figma is needed.
- Integration permissions and scopes must be granted during setup.
With this integration, you can simplify handoffs, reduce manual tasks, and keep your team aligned across tools—directly from your design workspace.
