Adobe is enhancing the Generative Fill feature in the Photoshop beta by integrating new AI models to give creators richer choices.

Here’s what’s new:

  • Added Gemini 2.5 Flash Image (Nano Banana) for stylized effects, graphic additions, and imaginative elements.
  • Integrated FLUX.1 Kontext [pro] for context-aware, perspective-correct fills that blend naturally into scenes.
  • Continued support for Adobe Firefly image models, known for production-safe quality, style controls, and high-resolution output.
  • You can switch between models mid-workflow: generate content with any model, then refine with Photoshop’s precision tools.
  • All of this works within the existing Photoshop environment, so you don’t break your workflow switching between generative edits and pixel-level refinements.
  • The new models are available immediately in Photoshop beta—update your app and try them out.
